To be honest, I didn’t really enjoy Paris that much. It’s probably because of the very very fast-paced travelling that we did, trying to squeeze everything in just three (3) days. We also experienced some terror threat, but let’s talk about that next time. Anyway, as our tour guide said, you can’t enjoy Paris that way – at most, you need at least one whole week to truly understand why Paris is lovely. I can probably agree with that.
Having said that, there is actually one thing that I enjoyed the most – and that’s being able to be up-close and personal with the Eiffel Tower. If there’s one thing that made my Paris trip special, it’s this tower!
We walked everywhere just to be able to find it, and while doing so, we had several views of it from afar. Although they say that the best view is from Trocadero, we skipped that because of the crowd and went straight under it.
I’ve always dreamed of seeing it personally, because I grew up with my parents always talking wonders about it. They’ve been to Europe several times for work and they love Eiffel too. So, now, I can say the same!
I love you, Eiffel! 🙂 Hope to meet you again!
