So, here’s a question, is it worth it to wait in line for hours to go inside the S&R stores, and line up again for the cashier for another couple of hours?
My answer would be YES!
YES, if you’re a hoarder of body washes, deodorants, shampoos, conditioners, and lotions – because they have some BOGO (Buy One, Get One) deals on that. I got myself some body washes and Nivea Whitening Deo Spray.
YES, if you’re a hoarder of Pringles, potato chips, wafer sticks, biscuits, Twinkies (!) and snacks – because they have some BOGO deals on that.
YES, if you like household items (towels, linens, bedsheets, etc.), appliances, and electronics – because most of the best deals are on these items.
YES, if you like lotsa boxed juices in your pantry, because they also have BOGO on that.
YES, if you’re a fan of S&R’s baked goodies, because there’s so many great deals on that, too!
Finally, here’s a tip to cut your waiting time in line – go around 5-7pm. By that time, there’s a shorter line at the entrance, more slots for parking (because most shoppers will already be leaving), and a shorter and faster line for the cashiers. I know, because that’s what I did last night!
Oh, and did I tell you about my shopping ban for anything new until Easter? Yeah, it’s my Lenten sacrifice, but also more like my way to save up some moolah. I can shop, but only for food – so I stocked up on my pantry supplies. But I did buy some deodorant and body wash, only because I’m out of them.
Here’s my cart!
Happy shopping – or hoarding!
