Panettone is an Italian Christmas bread. It’s like a fruit cake but with more sponge and more fluff. While exploring the streets of Italy in December, we always saw different bakeshops showing off their best versions of this bread. In this particular cafe called Pasticceria S. Gregorio in Milan, where I also had the best carbonara ever, their panettones were made or baked while hanging.
I tried Googling about it and apparently, it’s a technique of baking it. While I didn’t have the chance to taste their panettone, which I’m sure would also be divine, it was quite a nice and very unique experience having to dine with bread hanging all over the ceiling.
Very cute and quaint indeed. And very #Eurogoals. Haha.
