This is not a post about a recent trip. It actually happened last year, sometime in August. I posted some photos in my Instagram and Facebook already, but I thought I should also post some of them here.
It was a brief budget trip and my second time in Bangkok. We weren’t even able to see the elephant shows due to some confusion and misunderstanding with the cab drivers. You see, my friends and I are budget travelers and we always aim to please without having to spend a lot. So instead of taking the tour offered by our hotel, we opted to research and do it ourselves. However, I now realize it was a major mistake. So here’s my one useful tip when going to BKK – ALWAYS BOOK THE TOURS OFFERED BY THE HOTELS BECAUSE CAB DRIVERS WILL TRY TO CONFUSE YOU.
So anyway, we got to see some of the major temples so that’s about as touristy as we can get. We also watched a lively show where transgenders and gays performed. They were so good and sexy. And finally, we were able to do some shopping. Well, “budget-shopping” that is, because we only went to the bargain malls like MBK and Platinum Fashion Mall. We also got to try the Chatuchak Weekend Market.
Enjoy the photos!
